Alaina Valentine (Moyes) Petronelli

Alaina Valentine (Moyes) Petronelli, 53, of Fall River, passed away peacefully on Saturday August 1st after a stay in the ICU enduring an emergency operation complicated by long term illness.

            Born in Brockton, February 5, 1962, a daughter to the late Robert Moyes and Elaine (Charles) O’Connell, she was raised in Easton and graduated with honors from Oliver Ames High School. She is survived by her two sons, Mathew Mark Petronelli of New York City and Dylan Forrest Waitt of New Bedford, as well as her siblings Ian Mitchell Moyes, Robert Moyes, Lisa Aldrich, Patrick Moyes and her many nieces and nephews.  As an avid fan of science fiction, a believer in angels, and a Catholic who was as tough as nails with a unique sense of humor, she was well prepared for the journey she is now on.

            Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a  wake and funeral service at Copeland-MacKinnon Funeral Home, 38 Center St. North Easton, MA, on Tuesday August 11, from 3pm to 5:30pm.with a funeral service at 5:30pm   There will be a dinner for the family following this at Stoneforge Grill, 10 Roosevelt Circle (Rt 138) South Easton, MA.
