Nancy J (Wells) Powers

Nancy J. Powers (Wells), 70, of South Easton passed away peacefully on Friday, November 24, 2017 at Life Care Center of West Bridgewater.

Born April 23, 1947, Nancy was the daughter of the late Ellsworth and Adele (Krogman) Wells. She grew up in Randolph but moved to South Easton in 1972 to start her own family. She was a graduate of Bridgewater State University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Education.

Nancy enjoyed spending time with her loving family. She was an avid reader, loved arts and crafts, and was a member of the Red Hat Society and Trinity Episcopal Church in Randolph. She also touched a number of lives as a preschool teacher at the Honey Tree Preschool in Raynham.  

Nancy was predeceased by her brother Raymond Wells. She is survived by her loving husband Robert A. Powers of South Easton, her daughter Faith (Powers) Galas and husband Daniel Galas of Virginia, her brother Bruce Wells of North Carolina, her sister Phyllis Klock of Florida, and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, November 30 from 4-7pm at the Southeast Funeral Home, 93 Center St., North Easton, MA. A funeral service will be held the next day on Friday, December 1, at 10am in the Southeast Funeral Home, followed by internment at the Furnace Village Cemetery in Easton, MA.
