Naomi Yvonne (Weir) Demaine, 79 years of age, passed away Sunday, August 23rd 2015 in the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton Ma. Born is Easton Ma on July 6th 1936, She Resided in Brockton Ma for over 40 years.

Pre Deceased by her parents, Arthur R. Weir and Gertrude L. (Hanson) Weir-Stevens.  Naomi is Survived by her son Derrick G. Demaine and his wife Sharron of Arizona and her daughter Sabrina L. Carlson and her husband Aaron of Klamath Falls, Oregon.  Her 4 Brothers Charles Weir of Brockton, Richard Weir of Norton, Carly Weir of NH, and Arthur Weir. 1 sister Josephine Anderson of Brockton and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Naomi is also survived by her longtime Companion for over 10 years, Barry Palmaccio who will Miss her very much.

Naomi worked as a waitress in many different local restaurants for most of her life where she touched many people’s lives. She was part of the Woman’s Ministry of Salvation Army, The board of Trustees Brockton Neighborhood Health Center, and an affiliate with the Unitarian Universalist Church in Brockton.   Naomi also attended the Central United Methodist Church. She will be missed dearly by all who loved her.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday August 30th from 5-8 PM in the Copeland Mackinnon Funeral Home 38 Center St. Easton MA.   A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Monday August 31st at 10AM. Burial will take place at South Easton Cemetery, Easton MA.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
