Virginia Marie Castellana
May 27, 1931 ~ January 18, 2016 (age 84) 84 Years OldVirginia Marie (Regan) Castellana died January 18, 2016 at the Guardian Center in Brockton, MA. “Ginny” was born in Boston, MA on May 26, 1931. She was the daughter of Arthur and Martha Ruf of Boston, MA. Her adult life was spent in Easton, MA where she raised her four boys. Alzheimer’s disease consumed her final years and led to her death, but it did not define her. She was never a woman of means and always a woman of joy. She was always first to the dance floor and last to leave. Her kitchen was a place for a cup of coffee and a kind ear, or to get your hair done with the music a little too loud on the radio. The moments in her life of greatest joy and peace were when surrounded by all generations of family and “her boys.”
“Ginny” is predeceased by her eight brothers and sisters, and sons Richard and John Regan. She is survived by her sons Daniel and Ronald Regan, and granddaughter Elisabeth Regan.
This world has lost a thornless rose.
