Carol Betzer Obituary

Carol Ann (Cruickshank)Betzer passed away suddenly on Friday, December 7, 2018. She was blessed to have had family by her side.
Daughter of the late Edward and Vera Cruickshank, she is survived by her children, Kimberly A. (Betzer) Wilburn of East Bridgewater and Kurt D.E. Betzer of Easton. Three brothers; George Cruickshank of Brooks, ME, Richard Cruickshank of Mansfield and Charles Cruickshank of Easton as well as her "baby sister" Debra Cruickshank-Blye of Easton. Her two cherished Grandchildren, Mark E. and Kelly A. Wilburn and Son in Law, Dennis Wilburn. Her former husband, David W. Betzer of Jamestown, RI, 7 nieces, 1 nephew and a large extended family.
Carol lived the majority of her 73 years on Poquanticut avenue in Easton. She graduated from Oliver Ames High School in 1963. She had an unfogettable smile.
Carol would always say that she "loved life" and she lived hers with enthusiasm, faith and joy everyday to the last. She enjoyed spending time with and doting on her beloved family and friends above all. She was a fierce sports fan. She enjoyed nature, westerns, music and so much more.
In accordance with her wishes, her Earthly remains will be cremated. A memorial celebration of her life will be held on or around her birthday in May. Further information will be made available at that time.
