Jack L. Roberts

Jack L. Roberts of Belgrade, Maine passed away on October 2, 2019 at the age of 78 after a long illness. Loving husband to Joanne (Peters) Roberts.  Born on January 20th 1941 to the late Robert and Marguerite (Moffitt) Roberts of Kirksville, Missouri.

Jack worked as a Tool and Die Maker and was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy.  He loved to paint pictures, fish and spending time at the shooting range.

In addition to his wife Joanne, Jack is survived by his children: Christina Roberts of New Bedford, Jeanine Arena of Halifax and Robin Parsons of Plymouth; Also, his stepchildren: Keith Bettencourt of Martha’s Vineyard, Kim Bettencourt of Maine and Eric Walker of Mashpee.  He was the brother of Larry Roberts, Audrey Reynolds and Dana Worthington.  Cherished grandfather of Jacqueline and Nicholas Arena, Sammy Jo Caldwell, Sara Monteiro, Jeanine Duncan and Lorraine Roberts.  He also leaves behind several great grandchildren and 12 Step-grand and great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Jack was predeceased by his first wife, the late Jacqueline (Parsons) Roberts and his children, the late James Roberts and the late Sherre Dobbyn.
