James M Luke

 James M. Luke passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 22 2018 surrounded by his loving family. The son of the late John and Olivia Luke. James was a lifelong resident of Easton.

James was raised and Educated in Easton MA. He was a graduate of Oliver Ames High School where he was a former stand out athlete.  Prior to his retirement in 2009, James worked in the town of Easton for 35 years. James was a Supervisor for the Easton Department of Public Works Highway Department. He was an avid Boston sports fan, loved to garden, and especially loved his grandchildren. James was a Vietnam Era Veteran who served in the US Air Force.

James is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Bonny L. (Greeley) Luke , His 2 Sons; James J. Luke and his wife Sheri of Easton, and  Mark F. Luke and his wife Sarah, also of Easton. James is the brother of Hazel Varella of Easton, the late George Luke, and the late Jack Luke. James is also survived by his sister-in-law Debbie (Coe) Luke,  5 Grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday June 1st 2018 from 4-7PM In the Southeast Funeral Home, 93 Center St. Easton MA 02356. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.  Burial will be Private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to a charity or organization of choice.
