Mary M. (Glassford) Morrill

BROCKTON – Mary Margaret (Glassford) Morrill, 68, of Mansfield, found eternal peace on Monday, December 31, 2018. She was the loving mother of Wendy M. Graça and her husband Scott of East Freetown, MA and grandmother (Nonnie) of Melanie and Michaelah Nunes and Adriana Graça.

Daughter of the late Robert E. and Dorothy A. (Cavanagh) Glassford, and sister of Robert E. Glassford Jr. and his wife Eleanor of Las Vegas, NV, Francis L. Glassford and his wife Patricia of Spring Hill, FL, and Lynda Glassford of Marstons Mills, MA. She was Aunt to Bob, Joe, Frank and Brian Glassford, as well as Nicole LeTourneau, and Great Aunt to Nick, Jax and Maiyah.

Mary grew up in Stoughton and graduated from Stoughton High School in 1968. After working in health care for many years, she continued her education and graduated from Bentley College in 1992. After working for Bank of America and Bob’s Stores, she ultimately retired from Brinks in 2009 as an Assistant Cash Room Supervisor.

Mary will be remembered fondly for her playful sense of humor, adventurous free spirit and love for nature and animals. She will be missed deeply by her friends and family, especially her loyal dog Coco.

In accordance with her wishes, Mary’s Earthly remains will be cremated. A memorial celebration of her life will be held on Friday, January 18th, from 4:00-7:00 PM at the Southeast Funeral Home, 93 Center St., Easton, MA.
