Anne Marie (Lucia) Devaney

Anne Marie Devaney, 67, of North Easton, passed away peacefully on January 17th at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton.  She was previously married to Richard M. Devaney Jr. of Taunton.

Anne Marie was born in Brookline on October 18, 1953 to the late Clifford and Frances (Schrieber) Lucia.    She was raised in Dedham, a 1971 graduate of Dedham High School.  Anne Marie went on to work in the finance department at Bay Bank in Dedham.  She also worked as a waitress at various restaurants before becoming a full time single mother to her children.

 Anne Marie loved music and spending time at the beach with her family.  She loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, fishing and hiking Blue Hills.  She was a leader for her daughters Girl Scout troop.  She also enjoyed hosting holiday parties in her home.  Anne Marie was very much a hands-on Nana.  Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great granddaughter.

Anne Marie is survived by her three children; Alicia Devaney and her fiancé, Michael Lewis, Keri Precourt and Christopher Devaney, all of North Easton.  Her beloved grandchildren; Courtney, Abby, Aidan, Charlie, Ben, Lexi, Dominic and Maddox.  One great granddaughter, Peyton and her great grandson Nicholas, who is due in April.  She also leaves behind her brothers, Michael and Clifford Lucia, Sisters; Jackie Moore, Denise Doyle, Michelle Walsh and Laurie Leischner.  She is predeceased by her brother; Bobby Lucia and sister, Frances Gillis.  Anne Marie also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Southeast Funeral Home, 93 Center St., Easton, MA on Friday, January 22nd from 4:00PM – 6:30PM.  Funeral Services will be private.
