Carolyn Ruth (Berchtold) Patnaude

Carolyn Ruth Patnaude, 67 passed away peacefully on March 11, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.  She was born July 11, 1952 in Brookline, MA to the late Edward Warren Berchtold and the late Carolyn Varney Brown Berchtold.  Carolyn was a lifelong resident of Sharon, MA.

Carolyn took great joy in gardening, jigsaw puzzles and bird watching but most of all she enjoyed the company of her family and friends.  Her generous and joyous spirit touched all who met her and was known for her infectious laugh.

She will be forever remembered by her loving husband of 20 years Barry Patnaude and her beautiful daughters Stephanie Thomas of Middleboro, MA and Jennifer Hawley and fiancé Michael Wilson of Lakeville, MA.  She will be sorely missed by her cherished grandsons Andrew, Nicholas and Colin.  Carolyn also leaves behind her adoring sister Linda Sears of Springdale, AR and dear brother Peter Berchtold and his wife Melanie Berchtold of Bellingham, MA along with countless loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her late parents, her brothers Robert, Edward and Thomas Berchtold and sister Virginia Berchtold.

Per her wishes no funeral services will be held but a Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Society, alz.org, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd, Waltham, MA 02452.
