Carolyn Sprague Obituary

Carolyn Sue Sprague of Holbrook passed away on September 21, 2022 at the age of 74.  She was the wife of the  late Harold Saling and Allan Sprague.

Carolyn was born in Columbia, Missouri to the late Samuel and Virginia (Davis) Ward.  She was a high school graduate and went on to earn her Associate’s Degree.  Carolyn worked for many years doing accounting until she retired from Hussman Corporation in Bridgeton, MO.

Carolyn was a member of the Baptist Church of St. Charles, MO where she participated in the Woman’s Group.  She was also a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association and loved softball and bowling.

Carolyn is survived by her daughters; Donna Hollingshead of St. Peters, MO. and Christina Dolan of Holbrook, MA.  She had three step-daughters; Joyce Starling of Fulton, MO, Paula Leeke of Phoenix, AZ. and Dawn Wirt St. Charles, MO.  Additionally, she leaves behind her sister; Pat Davis of Columbia, MO. And brother; Samuel Ward of Kansas City, KS. as well as 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Carolyn was predeceased by her son, the late Allan Sprague, Jr. who passed away in 2018.

Services will be held at the First Baptist Church at 10:00 on October 22, 2022.  Address is 2701 Muegge Rd, St Charles MO 63303.
