Mr. David H. Ethier, age 92 of Easton passed away on Thursday January 18th 2024. He was the beloved husband of the late Beverly A. (Holmes) Ethier. David was born in Woburn on October 31, 1931 to the late Mildred C. (Hamilton) and Elzier J. Ethier. He was a graduate of Middleboro High School and received his associate in science degree from UMass/Stockbridge School of Agriculture. David was a proud veteran of the United States Army and served 2 years in Korea. He was a member of the American Legion Post 0007 in Easton. Prior to his retirement, he was the Manufacturing Engineer for Brookfield Engineering Laboratories in Middleboro for over 15 years.
David was an accomplished woodworker for many years. He had many hobbies including his garden but mostly enjoyed spending time with his family. His grandchildren were especially close to his heart. David was a longtime member of the Evangelical Congregational Church of Easton.
David leaves behind his son David Ethier and his wife Karen of Norton, his daughter Susan M. Starr of Naples FL, and his two grandchildren, Andrew Ethier of Fort Myers FL and Emma Connor and her husband Mark of West Yarmouth.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday January 23rd 2024 from 4:00pm-6:00pm in the Southeast Funeral Home, 93 Center Street, N. Easton Ma 02356. A Funeral Service will immediately follow in the funeral home at 6:00pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Burial will take place at the Furnace Village Cemetery in Easton on a date to be announced.
