David H. Fox, age 68 of Buzzards Bay, passed away in the early hours of Friday, September 9, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the loving husband of Denise Fox (Downing).
David was born in Brockton on October 2, 1953 to the late William and Miriam (Williams) Fox. He leaves behind his three children; Sarah Brock, David and Matthew Fox, and one grandson; Adam Sowden. David is also survived by two brothers; William and Kenneth Fox and his sister Evelyn Fox.
David loved to spend his time at the library. As a lifelong believer that a town’s library was a marvelous resource that helped to build a strong community, he frequented quite a few in the surrounding area. He enjoyed spending time catching up with friends and acquaintances. David had many interests. In particular, he loved old movies, antique cars, motorcycles, trains, comics, and all kinds of music.
David’s faith in God was central to him. He read the bible daily, began studying the book A Course in Miracles, and loved watching (and sharing with others) the documentary series The Chosen. His greatest desire was for others to know and follow Jesus.
David was a Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, Norwood Council 252 and was Past Faithful Navigator of the Bishop Jeremiah F. Minihan Assembly of the Fourth Degree.
