June L. (Hackett) Coffin

June L. (Hackett) Coffin of Taunton passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 29, 2021. She was the wife of the late Scott Coffin. June was born in Boston on June 3, 1935 to the late William and Marjorie (MacDonald) Hackett. 

June cherished the holidays and her time spent as a wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to travel with her family and enjoyed spending time at the casinos in Foxwoods and Atlantic City. Prior to retirement, June worked as a Bookkeeper.

June is survived by her three daughters, all of Taunton; Linda and Alan Darling, Cheryl Coffin, and Diane and David Mahon.  She was the proud Gam Gam of  Jennifer, Jaimie, Shannon and Erin.  She had two Brothers; James Hackett of CA and Franklin Hackett of Sharon.  She also leaves behind her dear sister-in-law Jackie Corby of FL.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 1st from 4:00PM-6:30PM at the Southeast Funeral Home, 93 Center St., Easton, MA.  A prayer service will take place from 5:00PM-5:20PM and visitation will resume until 6:30.
