Robert (Bob) St. Croix, aged 72, of Easton, MA, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 31st after a brief illness. He was a lung cancer survivor and fought a 9 year battle with Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife Sheryl (Ray) St. Croix of Easton, MA daughter Renee Nihill and her husband Kevin of Norton, MA and daughter Courtenay St. Croix of Easton, MA. He was also Pop Pop to his 9 year old grandson Bryson.
Born in Brookline, MA and raised in Medford, MA, Bob was the son of the late Alphonsus and the late Ethel (White) St. Croix and the brother of Joseph St. Croix of Pensacola, FL, Heidi St. Croix of Medford, MA and the late John St. Croix formerly of Gainesville, FL, and the late Mary St. Croix formerly of Somerville, MA. He is also survived by 5 nieces and nephews.
A true family man, Bob enjoyed spending time with his wife, daughters, grandson, and dog. He was retired from a long career in sales and had worked for Iron Mountain in Boston for 15 years prior to retiring. He liked going for rides to the ocean and up to the mountains. A lifelong sports fan, Bob loved all Boston sports teams and was happy watching a Red Sox or Patriots game from his favorite chair. Bob was an avid reader and always had a book or newspaper in his hand. A long-time trivia buff, no one could win against him at Trivial Pursuit due to his love of trivia and facts. He was a collector of watches, hats, and sports memorabilia. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, A Celebration of Bob's Life will be held at a later date and will be announced with details.
In lieu of flowers, it was Bob's wish to have a donation made in his name to the Alzheimer's Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
