William Linhares, Jr. entered into eternal rest unexpectedly on March 2, 2023. Born in Fall River, MA on March 22, 1973, he was the son of William Linhares, Sr. and the late Donna (Breese).
William graduated from Tiverton High School, class of 1991 and went on to serve his country with the United States Marines Corp. from 1991-1992. He worked for many years as a Master Carpenter building new and custom homes. He excelled at interior finish work. Prior to his death, he was employed by the VA in Brockton as an Engineering Technician.
William’s favorite hobby was riding his motorcycle where he was most at peace. His favorite saying was “I am free of everything when I am on two wheels and can feel the wind on my face.”
William (Billy) was most proud of his biggest accomplishment in life, which were his children. Aside from them, serving his country was his calling and he was a true marine. Until we meet again, 2 pennies.
William leaves behind his beloved children; Cory Linhares, Ethan Linhares, Ryan Linhares, his “baby girl” Ariana Linhares and Mia Linhares, all of Fall River; his former longtime wife and friend, Crystal Oliviera of Tiverton, RI; his father; William Linhares, Sr. and his wife Connie of Palm Bay, FL. He is survived by his sister; Shanon Lambert, niece Nicole Lambert, Chad Lambert and family, all of ME.; his cousin David Mello, who was like a brother to him; an aunt, uncle, many cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
